AMIE

What is the AMIE full form?

Associate Member Institution of Engineers is AMIE meaning. Which is a appropriate another way for candidates who are unable to study regularly in an engineering college. An AMIE certified candidates are equal as engineering degree holder from AICTE, UPSC, SSC, State government and Central government as well as AMIE degree holder are able to writen exam as - Civil Service, GRE, GMAT, IES etc. Those candidate who granted degree by Associate Member Institution of Engineers, is also able to apply for higher studies in master degree in engineering. Qualification for different classes of membership

For Technician member:

A student can become easily a technician member if he/she has a lowest minimum qualification 12 standard with 45% minimum aggregate.

For Senior Technician member:

Candidate age must be 18(minimum) year old. Candidate should have diploma or degree in technology or engineering valid by the council. Any candidate can becomes an Associate Member Institution of Engineers OR AM, if passed both section of the exam.

Exam:- AMIE exams are held two times in a year in Summer and Winter that's reason they called as Summer and Winter examinations OR June and December respectively. Duration of each paper is 3 hours. Candidate's can choose English language, however candidate can choose Hindi with the permission of IEI.
